We are a growing global marketing team with a focus on contributing to the digital transformation of our company. Our team consists of experienced global marketers, digital marketing specialists, data analysts, and content marketers with diverse backgrounds and cultures. We work within a very flexible work environment in which there are clear responsibilities on output but also a lot of room for creativity and innovative ideas. As the world of (digital-) marketing is continuously evolving, there is plenty of room for training and education both on the job and outside.

Purpose of the job

As a global paid marketing (e.g. Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn) specialist at Randstad, you will operate within a global environment as an internal consultant to support the countries on their local paid advertising strategy, and to better define local need for paid advertising resources. You will identify global and local strategies, techniques and tactics to increase the performance within paid marketing in order to drive conversions and gain economies of scale on spend on a global level. Furthermore you will communicate with (digital-) marketers in Randstad’s 39 countries

Key activities

  • As a global paid marketing consultant, you will be responsible for the following activities:
  • Operational and strategic analysis of the countries paid advertising approach
  • Reporting op CPA, conversions and attribution
  • providing feedback to the countries and defining improvement plans
  • Focusing on paid advertising automation to gain economies of scale (e.g. with tools like Channable)
  • Working on global and local dashboards
  • Monitoring the developments of the major paid advertising channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram etc)
  • Liaising with our in-house SEA & SEO experts to define combined strategy & processes
  • Evaluating purchase opportunities for tools needed on global level
  • Community building – sharing of best practices and paid advertising related developments

Qualifications and competencies

  • 7-10 years of paid advertising experience (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, Jobboards), preferably in an international environment or at an agency;
  • Degree in marketing, IT, business or technology;
  • Solid understanding of paid advertising tools and technology;
  • A genuine interest in digital marketing and a good understanding of the marketing context;
  • Strong analytical skills for understanding performance KPIs and also Google Analytics;
  • Excellent communication skills to educate, inform, influence and mediate across a number of stakeholders in an organization;
  • Creative flair and strong consultancy skills;
  • A basic understanding of how job seekers and companies (customers) search, where they search and why they purchase something online;
  • A commitment to keeping your paid advertising skills and knowledge up to date;
  • Evidence of a strong personal online profile, e.g. a blog, website or connections and interactions on various social media platforms for yourself or one of your clients/employers;
  • Fluent in spoken & written English and Dutch. French, German or other European languages is a plus
