I worked with digital agencies for years, specializing in user experience. Initially I worked in interaction design, but more recently I made the conscious transition to project management. There, everything – digital marketing and communications – comes together.
I stand out from others in this field, because on the one hand I’m working from the marketing content perspective, while on the other hand I’m looking from the user’s perspective. Project management was a deliberate choice, as I don’t believe in process management. Ultimately, it’s not about the ‘how’ and more about the ‘why’. My starting point is always the content. And always in a multidisciplinary, creative team.
I work increasingly on the client side. Right now I’m interim Senior Project Manager for global digital campaigns with a major international fast mover. I’m responsible for the creation, production and global roll-out of all their digital campaigns; online, mobile and social.
