Forward Deployed Engineer, embedded in the Revenue & Direct Business team of a large, multi-site organisation operating across Europe. Call Shanice

Why is this role interesting?

The work is genuinely high-leverage. Revenue management decisions at a large, multi-site European organisation move millions, and there are real ML problems behind them rather than chatbot prompting exercises. You’ll have direct influence on what gets built.

What will you do?

  • Embed in the Revenue and Direct Business team, build a working understanding of their data infrastructure (Salesforce CRM, Mews PMS, Microsoft Fabric, custom revenue tools), and identify the highest-leverage automation opportunities
  • Design and ship AI systems that affect P&L directly, ML-driven segment mix optimisation, predictive models for revenue management Scope work end-to-end: from the ambassador’s domain insight through to production code and adoption. You own the journey
  • Work closely with the platform engineer in the hub to build on shared infrastructure (eval framework, retrieval, agentic runtime) rather than reinventing it

Must have skills

  • 5+ years engineering experience with production code in Python.
  • Hands-on ML experience: building and deploying models, not just calling APIs. Comfortable with feature engineering, evaluation, monitoring drift in production.
  • Shipped at least more than one production AI / ML system that affected business KPIs (not a prototype, not a proof of concept, something that ran in production for months and had metrics attached).
  • Comfortable with cloud data platforms: Azure, Microsoft Fabric and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong written communication. You can write a spec, a post-mortem, a stakeholder update, not just code.
  • Practical experience with recommendation systems, segmentation, churn modelling, or pricing / revenue optimisation.

Nice to have

  • Hospitality, travel, or e-commerce domain background.
  • Experience embedding inside a non-tech business team.
