Kim Kleine Staarman, appointed as CEO of Spargle
AMSTERDAM – Spargle is very pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Kleine Staarman as CEO. After founding and leading Spargle for 12 years, Nicole van Thoor will be handing over leadership to Kim.
Kim Kleine Staarman will be taking over day-to-day management, strategy development and the buildout of Spargle’s mission. Nicole van Thoor will still play an important role in the company. Nicole enlightens: “By appointing Kim, I can fulfill a more independent role. This way, I can further focus on business development and maturing of business propositions within a changing market. Besides that, I will still be involved on strategic client level, orchestrating the best teams, and executive coaching. With her broad experience in the digital world, Kim sets out an environment for me to do so.”
The appointment of Spargle’s new CEO and the enlargement of the Spargle team marks the beginning of Spargle 2.0. Kim states: “I am honored to have been given the opportunity to lead this remarkable company. Together with our reinforced team we strive to take Spargle to a new and broader level.

Kim brings more than 20 years of experience in the corporate, scale-up and start-up world in several respectable roles at well known companies. After multiple (senior) marketing manager positions at companies such as Wehkamp, T-Mobile and Hema, Kim made her way to Marketing & E-commerce Director at La Place, V&D and DRG. In between, she made a foray into agency side in the role of Managing Director. Before coming to Spargle, she was CCO at a tech start-up: Local Heroes.
