Nicole co-host in BNR radio show ‘Zakendoen’ (2)
Nicole was back on air again today in BNR Zakendoen.
Today’s topic is business and leadership. In addition, Peter-Paul Goeij joined today. Peter-Paul is Managing Director of NOGA (Dutch Online Gambling Association). They talked about the impact of a new law on Peter-Paul his organization and on online gambling market.
Nicole used to work as a consultant. Thomas asked Nicole what the big difference was between working as a consultant and owning her own business. She indicated that being an entrepreneur is about three palettes, namely:

Nicole talked about leadership, letting go and stimulate digital nomads working for our company and the struggle she felt in this process.
Thomas is curious if Spargle has felt any headwinds in the past ten years. Spargle has faced headwinds, especially the last Covid-19 year. Spargle has achieved the fixed growth rate of 20% even in lock down time. In addition to this, it is also important to Nicole to add value, both for the client and for the Spargle team. For example, making a good match, even if the question is not directly from the customer. That is what we call Human Chemistry.
Peter-Paul Goeij joined Nicole and Thomas and talked about his company. Peter-Paul is Managing Director of NOGA (Netherlands Online Gambling Association). NOGA is the Dutch trade association of online gambling companies committed to safe and responsible participation in online gambling.
Bad news for international online gambling companies who are no longer allowed to allow Dutch customers on their sites. The minister is going to take this step to introduce a new gambling law as of October 1st. A distinction will be made between companies that have a license and those that do not. The minister wants to channel it. All unlicensed online gambling providers will go black as of October 1st.
